Summary
Amendments to access regime and prices surveillance
Deals with state and territory access regimes and responsibilities with resepect to the ACCC and ACT.
Changes to prices surveillance resulting from repeal of Prices Surveillance Act 1983 (following PC Review in 2001) - new Part inserted in TPA, recognising that prices surveillance has 'become part of Australia's competition policy, rather than a tool to reduce general price inflation.' (EM to bill) .
